ARCHITECT

NICOLA VANNUCCHI

He graduated with honours at the faculty of Architecture in the University of Genoa. He specialized in project management discussing a thesis about the requalification of an area situated in Pisa along the 12th century wall. He carried on the studies and plans of the Project Beareau of the Pisan Local Authority. When he was a universitary student won a competition of ideas organized in collaboration with Triennale of Milan ( M. Bellini, P.L. Nicolin, F.Cellini, E. Tadini). His idea consists of a project for the building of a new buses warehouse A.M.T. located in a suburb of Genoa. Many architectural exhibitions as Triennale of Milan, Palazzo dell'Arte, a Cà Tron, santa Croce, Venezia e a The Escuela de arquitectura Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, Santiago del Chile. He obtained a special mention for an international competition directed to young architects and engineers; they planned a project for a residential area in the quarter known as rione rinascimento close to Talenti park, in Rome.

This project supervised by prof. Arch Paolo Portoghesi and it is exhibited in the S. Michele's a ripa grande complesso monumentale, in Rome. He partecipated to an architectural competition organized by an international commettee ( P.Zumthor, F.Purini, G.Byrne, B.Podrecca, N.Grimshaw) and got a final selection.

He designed a contemporary art museum in the old lazzaretto, in Venice. He also took part through his projects in the new location of the portual authority of Marina di Carrara and the transport factory in the industrial area , in Massa. He worked in many studios of architecture and in some public authorities as a technical designer for projects of buildings and urbanistic plans.

He belongs to the lists published in the Ministery of defense, Geniodife and his c.v. Is included in the database of the DARC Ministery of Art. now he is a PHD students at the Dept. of Civil and Industrial Engineer, in Rome. He is qualified for teaching in some sujects related to his degree and teaches design and Art in the Italian Secondary School.

SCULPTOR

MASSIMO BERTOLINI

He graduated with honors in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara with Prof. Floriano Bodini. Bolaffi reported for Italian sculpture in 1984 by Tommaso Paloscia, Florence. He makes his works in bronze, marble, wood and terracotta, corten and re-used materials. He participates in numerous sculpture Biennials: Arese Villa Reale of Monza, Asti, Arezzo and Arte Sacra in Siena and solo exhibitions, collective exhibitions in national and international exposing his works in various public spaces and art galleries participates in cultural projects: Italian Institute of Culture "City of Ingolstadt", a sculpture for Bariloche, Argentina. Du Rhin Gallery, France, Malavarca Gallery New Jersey U.S.A., Berman Gallery Turin, Kunst-Kontor Hamburg. Sztuki Gallery Wspotczesnej Opole Poland, FP. Luxury Art Gallery, Verbier Switzerland. He designed for Robert Glass, an industry that created the glass parts of the reverse pyramid of the Louvre,the "Portals of the present and future past" for Glass-Tec '94 in Dùsseldorf. He built an installation entitled "Against all wars" for the church "S.Stefano" of the Knights of Pisa.

For the city of Ribeira Grande, the island of S.Antao, Republic of Cape Verde creates the monument "The door of the sun and the moon". Recently he has created an installation that covers an area of 1000 square meters, entitled "Sradicamenti" in the pine forest of Forte dei Marmi in memory of the hurricane of March 6, 2015.

He made four large sculptures in travertine marble revisiting the theme of the four seasons that were placed in the square of the A-Rome LDC Hotel in Rome.
